Good Morning! Merry Christmas!


Santa made a beginner's mistake. He thought it would be more aesthetically pleasing to stack the big presents in the back and tier them down so the little ones were in front.
The error of this is that all the little ones were socks and undies and t shirts.
At first Myah was just happy to open present. Then, she started to ask me why Santa only brought her clothes and no toys?...


Aevyn woke up with a fever and the general crud. No energy to open her own presents


Finally Myah got a toy! The one of her dreams- a musical princess snow globe

On the way to Aunt Amy's house- the girls got in a twist about who got to look at what new book. And someone turned into a Grinch

A new trampoline magical cured the Grinchdom and the fever crud. Amazing!

Dessert time...someone accidentally stepped in my delicious homemade blueberry cheesecake. i can only imagine who it was

By the way, it was covered in foil at the time of the incident, so it was still edible and totally delicious

On the Eve of Christ's Mass

After the Mexican food had been consumed and the church visited, it was time to open up the traditional Christmas Eve pajamas.
Unfortunately Myah fell asleep early, so she woke up in a brand new pair of pj's that had miraculously made their way on to her body

A Florida Winter Wonderland

Kyle finally almost finished off the latest addition to our household. It only took all day for 4 big strong dudes (ok, it was Pop, Kyle, Bret and Brian) to set up all the frame and slide thing, fuled by beer and pizza. Kyle was able to add the finishing touches with relatively lightening- speed

It's not like he was alone though. He had constant supervision

The hair on the top of the head still is shorter then her hair everywhere else, so it makes for some spiky piggy tails.

"Mom, I pinched my finger and it hurts so bad. I'm going to bite it off so I can grow a new finger that doesn't hurt me"

Happy Birthday Aevyn!

She got to celebrate her second birthday on the last day at sea of our cruise.
We toured the kitchen and just happened to run into a birthday cake- not Aevyn's, but it did make for a cute picture
