1 Year, 1 month, 1 week and 1 day later...

^That's how long it's been since I last posted on this blog about our continual existence. The good news is, we are all still here.
Things I do now: Work fulltime as an RN in addictions rehab. Be a first place winner in my height class at a NPC Figure division at a National Qualifying show (Heart of Dixie). Send my little one to private school.
Things I did before and still do: Live in Smalltown Florida. Homeschool my oldest. Be a military wife. Have chickens, 14 of them at the moment.
Things I used to do, but no longer do: Grow a garden. Coupon. Post on this blog. Engage in political discussions. Have an umbilical hernia.Own a couch. Have cable.
Things that I am going to do someday: Be the wife of a RETIRED military guy. Run a Tough Mudder. Find a pair of jeans that fit correctly.

I think that pretty much covers the year+month+week+day, right?

Here we are on a river. This is also a picture of my old herniated bellybutton. Hurray for health insurance!
Here I am, winning trophies and being rad. Not pictured: my overall hangryness and a couple years worth of losing at other NPC shows
Here are two exquisite beauties, headed off for a first day of school and homeschool

All About Myah

She wrote a book. I didn't even know she was doing it. (A motivated learner! I knew she that she would be alright without a formal kindergarten education) I did get random questions like: "Hey Mom, how do you spell harmonica?"
She's a fantastic little person, so it's no wonder that a book about her would turn out to be fantastic too.
That's all I have to say about it. Here's everything you need to know about Myah, written by Myah-

And just for fun, here's the most recent picture of the author. I'm not quite sure why she's making that face. Showing off the beautiful set of chompers that she inherited from her mother? Maybe. Note the Myah-art in the background.

Just Like A Bobo

Aevyn. What else can I say. The very mention of the name "Aevyn" should tell you everything you need to know...
In case you need further explanation, here it is: She brought me every single one of their play silks, one at a time, and had me time them on her in various fashions. I assumed she was going to be a mermaid, since this is usually the costume of choice to signify a girl's mermaidom. But no, she said she was going to be a "Bobo." As in "I'm going to dress like my grandmother, Bobo."
Sure, okay, that's exactly what Bobo looks like. But what does she act like?
Aevyn, please make some Bobo faces for us:
Ohhhh, looks like someone's getting told off... (maybe they forgot to fold up the blankets after delivering a baby? haha)
Alright, that was good. Now do a Bobo Dance:
Oh yes, that is precisely what a Bobo Dance looks like
BRAVO!

PS I have a video of this too.
