Wild Kingdom

Apparently my last post about my house turning into the zoo was misunderstood by some folks.
I guess maybe some read it as a help wanted advertisment?

That's it, I'm so through with Florida. I want to go back to the good old days when all I'd find waiting for me out my back door was a moose or perhaps a bear.

Monkey Boot Camp

Typical bedtime
I learned that Aevyn can get down off the top bunk. She used to climb up and be stuck like a turtle on it's back. No more.
She learned her way down- but not in a typical fashion.
I look up from reading Myah a book on the bottom bed to see Aevyn's stinky little baby feet dangling in my face. This kid is absolutely fearless. Please, no one teach her the meaning of "head first" anytime soon!

So here it is, recreated for you in pictures. You have to excuse the fuzzyness of my pictures. Someone covered the lense with fingerprints...if only there was a way to find out who...

It's not as if Aevyn were the only monkey in this zoo though.

Another funny Myah story about God

Myah: Mom, why can I see the moon right now? (it was 1pm and sunny, but the moon was visable)

Me: Uuuuhm, hmmm. I don't know. Why don't you ask God why he did that?

Myah, frustrated: I do ask Him mom, but He never talks to me to tell me the answer!

Me: Oh really? Are you sure?

Myah: Yes. I know he talks to my heart, but I don't have any ears in there so I can't hear!
