Real 4th of July

We live in such a progressive town....

We are so ahead of the times that we celebrate the 4th of July on the 3rd!
I got the girls all set and we walked to the park and listened to a great band and watched spectacular fireworks. I even remembered my camera! But not the memory card.

And so we came home with no pictures of our fun times.
The girls were pooped out so thankfully they fell asleep quickly! Gotta love that.
So here's some foot updates. Looking great- isn't it amazing?

I'm so over it
Gardening, that is
First I fried my peas (lesson learned- don't believe "organic gardening remedies" just because it was published online...). Then some creature is eating my tomatoes as soon as they ripen, same goes with the watermelons. Now my corn had a fungus! I had to tear it all down so it didn't spread spores to everything else.
And nothing else is growing at all. So I have no squash or cucumber updates or anything. pfffft

My flowers are growing pretty at least

Bad, bad corn... so pathetic

I banish you to the fire pit of doom!

I hope nothing happens to this happy little sunflower...

These are amazing healing baby feet!
It still looks bad, but nothing compared to a few days ago.

Kind of weird and shiny, but looks like an almost normal size and shape of a foot
